Great time to buy a home in Santa Fe

November 4, 2009

“Now is the time to buy.”

How many times have we heard that, and not acted.  Recent Santa Fe home sales tell us that this is a good time to buy.  My most recent home sales reveal numbers like a $1,750,000 purchase in 2006 that my clients just closed on for $1,260,000.  Another one was a 6,000 sq. ft. adobe home in a great neighborhood that cost over $1.6 million to build for $1,210,000.  The most recent is a Las Campanas home on the market for $1,195,000 (4,100 sq. ft.) for $995,000 – replacement cost is well north of $1,300,000.  If you are serious about buying at any price point in Santa Fe you need to re-read these numbers and call to see some of the great real estate buys that are out there.
